- I have a proven track record as a Business Analyst or in a similar position, with a solid grounding in data analysis and enhancing business processes.
- I am proficient in SQL for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, and I possess desirable experience in database design.
- I have hands-on experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create engaging reports and dashboards.
- I am familiar with Agile methodologies and project management practices that facilitate collaborative development cycles.
- I possess knowledge of SDLC processes to effectively manage project phases from inception to deployment.
- I have technical skills in R, Python, and ETL tools like Talend, as well as proficiency in VBA and Bash (Unix shell) for automation and advanced data analysis.
- I have a strong grasp of analytics concepts, coupled with excellent analytical skills to interpret complex datasets accurately.
- I have experience working with Linked Data principles for integrating various data sources into cohesive insights, which is an added advantage.
- I can clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- I will collaborate with business units to gather requirements, define project scope, and translate needs into clear technical specifications.
- I will design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators and trends.
- I will conduct thorough data analysis utilizing SQL, R, Python, and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Talend.
- I will support Agile project management methodologies by participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure the timely delivery of solutions.
- I will develop and maintain database structures using best practices in database design and optimize queries for performance improvement.
- I will apply SDLC principles to manage project phases from requirements gathering through to deployment and maintenance.
- I will automate routine tasks using VBA, Bash, or other scripting languages to streamline workflows.
- I will engage in Linked Data initiatives by integrating various data sources for thorough analysis.
- I will assist in creating business analysis documentation using tools such as Visio to map processes and workflows.
- I will provide ongoing support for analytics platforms like Power BI and Looker while troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
