IT site support specialist

- Provide incident, problem, and request management through IT service management platforms - Procure, set up, deploy, and assist end-user devices including laptops, desktops, and mobile equipment - Provide support for servers, networks (WAN/LAN), UPS systems, switches, backups, and third-party vendor solutions - Oversee on-site computer rooms, racks, cabling, and data rooms - Manage vendor service activities, service-level agreements (SLAs), and escalation processes - Keep IT asset registers updated and conduct physical audits; assist with refresh and retirement initiatives - Plan and implement changes, expansions, or renovations to IT infrastructure - Execute patching plans, manage backup and restoration processes, and ensure the reliability of critical equipment - Record time, report efforts, and manage on-site and remote vendor resources - Engage in audits, service-level reviews, ongoing improvement initiatives, and end user training - Support advanced engineering projects to develop improved processes and systems automation - Assist Operations in troubleshooting, maintaining, and programming PLC and other automation controls for equipment - Conduct assessments to mitigate machine risks, ensure adherence to safety standards, and partake in TMSS initiatives - Aid in planning facility expansions, layout designs, systems integration, and quality assurance - Create software requirements documentation, contribute to peer reviews, and take part in validation and testing - Develop and uphold process documentation, work instructions, and best practice guidelines - Collect, analyze, and present data from automation systems to support operational and continuous improvement efforts - Primarily provide IT support for the Seward location, with potential support for other locations as required
