AI Engineer

- Design and develop applications powered by large language models, APIs, and agentic pipelines - Collaborate with network and system administrators to integrate AI models into production systems via REST APIs and SDKs - Create RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and features for semantic search - Fine-tune foundational models for targeted applications - Develop, train, evaluate, and iterate on machine learning models utilizing real-world datasets, ensuring adherence to system standards - Monitor metrics and benchmark the performance of models - Optimize and quantize models for improved latency and accuracy in production - Build and maintain data pipelines to support AI models - Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging for model health and drift - Work with managers and systems administrators to define AI feature specifications and translate business challenges into AI/ML solution designs - Investigate and assess new models, frameworks, and tools - Clearly document architecture experiments and decisions - Explore and suggest innovative, preferably automated, methods for system administration tasks, identifying strategies that optimize our resources and create economies of scale - Address and recover from hardware or software disruptions, coordinating and communicating with affected parties - Conduct periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning efforts - Analyze system logs to identify potential issues - Perform routine audits of systems and software
