Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience with SAP SD
- Bachelors degree required
- Extensive user and project experience with SAP, especially in the technical configuration and business processes of the SAP FI Module
- Prior experience in an S/4 environment is preferred, with the ability to articulate the differences from R/3 to S/4
- Familiarity with integrated SAP environments and managing single controlling areas across multiple countries and functions
- Proven understanding of database applications, system development, report writing, and SAP ERP
- Experience in production support and project execution
- Strong project management experience and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch organization and communication abilities, particularly in translating complex technical concepts into business language
- Knowledge of SAP best practices
- Ability to interact with all organizational levels and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Project management certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and design solutions for financial processes in SAP (ECC and S/4 HANA)
- Lead projects through their full lifecycle while managing resources and reporting on status and risks
- Provide technical expertise in developing cost-effective systems and procedures that enhance business performance
- Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit and integration testing
- Create specifications to meet business requirements
- Manage large projects, including SAP upgrades, and support systems interfaced with SAP
- Establish good functional knowledge of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report processes
- Utilize tools like Vertex, Paymetric, BPC, and Dolphin/Serrala AP Tool
- Translate user requests into application solutions and analyze user requirements for system configuration and enhancements
- Resolve business issues through collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes for SAP configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
- Define requirements for specific forms and reports
- Develop and execute test plans and document results in collaboration with business leads
- Coordinate training documentation and conduct end-user training as necessary
- Analyze business practices and redesign procedures to align with best practices in SAP functionality
- Use query and reporting tools to deliver timely information to system users
- Oversee project management functions including coordination, planning, communication, and troubleshooting
- May assist in the support and maintenance of non-SAP applications or systems
- Participate in establishing and enforcing IT software standards and procedures
- Maintain the accuracy of the helpdesk database and knowledgebase for reported issues
- Willingness to travel as required
