RF Engineer - Mid-Level

- Conduct RF field testing and performance validation through hands-on drive testing and walk testing of LTE and 5G networks - Gather and analyze field data using tools such as TEMS, Nemo, XCAL, or similar platforms - Assess key RF KPIs, including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput, latency, and call performance - Perform post-processing and analysis of log files to identify coverage gaps, interference, and performance challenges - Troubleshoot and resolve real-time RF issues on-site, including coverage degradation, handover failures, and interference - Suggest and implement optimization adjustments (antenna tilt, azimuth, power modifications, neighbor relations) - Collaborate with RF design and optimization teams to validate enhancements in the network - Assist in the deployment, testing, and optimization of CBRS (Band 48) and private LTE/5G networks - Aid in SAS integration, spectrum coordination, and CBRS-specific performance validation - Test and validate small cells and enterprise/private network environments - Collaborate with RAN, construction, integration, and operations teams for network deployment and issue resolution - Participate in field readiness, site acceptance, and cluster optimization tasks - Prepare detailed reports and updates for internal teams and customers - Generate field test reports, performance summaries, and optimization recommendations - Keep accurate logs of testing activities, configurations, and issue tracking - Support customer deliverables and final documentation
