Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT support or Managed Service Provider environment, with at least 1-2 years in a senior technician position
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or supporting junior technicians, or in a leadership capacity in a non-professional setting
- Solid technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, networking, firewalls, VPNs, cybersecurity, and common MSP tools (RMM, PSA, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to managing issues and projects
- Effective and friendly communicator who enjoys assisting others
- A commitment to personal growth, learning, and leadership development
- Familiarity with hospitality-focused IT systems is an advantage
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends for projects or emergencies
- Preferred educational qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree in IT or a related technical field
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), Azure Fundamentals
Responsibilities
- Deliver remote and onsite support for desktops, servers, networks, and typical MSP-managed setups
- Act as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians
- Oversee the ticket queue, prioritize workload, and ensure adherence to SLAs
- Contribute to documentation, process enhancements, and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior technicians
- Foster a collaborative and positive team atmosphere
- Assist in assigning tasks and ensuring seamless daily operations
- Engage in deployments, upgrades, and installations tailored to the hospitality sector
- Support procurement, scheduling, and client interactions
- Coordinate project execution alongside senior team members
