Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Proficient understanding of MS Windows operating environments (Server 2016+, Windows 10+)
- Familiarity with information technology networking, architecture, security, account management, policies, and webpage design
- Experience with PLC I/O and data networks such as Allen Bradley, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, FLNET
- Capability to collaborate across various teams, both locally in North America and internationally in Japan
- Availability to work weekends for application management activities
- At least 3 years of related experience in Engineering/Software Engineering
- Over 2 years of project management experience, including building plans, procurement services, scope control, and progress monitoring
- Knowledgeable in MS Windows operating environments (Server 2016+, Office) and SQL databases
- Proficient with PLC I/O and data networks, along with webpage design
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective in teamwork, and capable of building consensus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for interacting with various organizational levels
- Strong organizational skills and capability for self-management
- Ability to visualize problems, solutions, work activities, and project plans
Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and coordinate critical TVECS application system architecture and infrastructure sustainment activities for operability at eight North American Manufacturing Centers (NAMCS)
- Test and deploy quarterly application version upgrades as provided by the software vendor
- Conduct quarterly server patching validation activities
- Provide troubleshooting/application support for both planned and emergent events
- Ensure IT compliance with respect to cyber security, access control, and obsolete systems
- Assist with TVECS and connected-system changepoint activities
