DevOps Automation Engineer - CPU Performance

- Design, establish, and maintain an automated workflow for CPU performance benchmarking, including setup, execution, data gathering, validation, and reporting. - Transform manual performance engineering tasks into scalable automation pipelines. - Facilitate single-click or CI-triggered benchmark executions that yield standardized and repeatable results. - Automate log analysis, metrics extraction, and data formatting for further assessment. - Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub) to oversee benchmark execution and infrastructure processes. - Integrate automation with version-controlled benchmark configurations, scripts, and components. - Ensure consistency, traceability, and auditability of performance evaluations. - Automate the provisioning of bare metal and virtual servers, including OS setup and system configuration at scale. - Oversee Linux-based environments tailored for CPU performance testing. - Containerize applications (Docker) and orchestrate as necessary (Kubernetes). - Monitor the health of the platform, benchmark executions, and infrastructure utilizing observability tools. - Proactively assist performance engineers during automated runs by diagnosing issues and executing quick fixes or alternatives. - Conduct capacity planning and scale systems to accommodate increasing benchmarking requirements. - Process and structure benchmarking data using Python, Spark, or Databricks. - Aid in creating dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) that offer quick performance insights for engineering teams. - Collaborate daily with CPU performance engineers to enhance workflows and automation continuously. - Document architectures, workflows, execution protocols, and troubleshooting methods. - Work with internal IT teams as needed to ensure consistency with networking, hardware, and security protocols.
