Requirements
Must:
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 3 years of knowledge in Quality Assurance
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools like JIRA (capable of creating epics, features, and user stories, and managing project workflows)
- 3 years of understanding of Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, and Development roles and responsibilities
- Experience with as-is and to-be processes, including content creation
- Proven ability in developing product roadmaps
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies/Agile practices
- Proficient in using Business Analyst tools (e.g., FIGMA, Visio)
Responsibilities
- Gather and document clear, testable business requirements that align with business needs, following standard templates and adherence to DTMB and MDOS policies
- Facilitate meetings to identify impacted business processes and document project requirements
- Collaborate with relevant project team members and stakeholders as specified in the Communication Plan
- Maintain the project backlog and work with the Product Owner to prioritize tasks throughout Agile projects
- Monitor the requirements process to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Ensure stakeholder engagement regarding data requirements and high-level information governance
- Resolve critical IT issues related to the Business Analyst role
- Provide insights for Build vs. Buy project decisions
- Assess project-specific benefits and the impact of changes to project scope or business requirements
- Complete, review, and approve SEM deliverables associated with the Business Analysts responsibilities
- Work directly with the project team, including UI/UX architects, database administrators, developers, and QA testers, to ensure clarity on requirements and functionality of IT solutions
