Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret security clearance (Tier 5)
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IASAE Level III (CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or CCSP)
- Minimum of 10 years of full-time experience in software development.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, testing, and maintaining tools for vulnerability analysis.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols including DNS, HTTP/S, WebSockets, and SMB.
- Solid background in debugging, code analysis, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with STIG implementation and best security practices.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C# (.NET), C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, Assembly.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and software virtual environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and maintain tools for analyzing protocol and service vulnerabilities.
- Propose and construct frameworks to exploit weaknesses in various protocols and services.
- Create proof-of-concept code tailored for exploits, particularly for Command and Control (C2) tools.
- Engage with communication protocols such as DNS, HTTP/S, WebSockets, and SMB.
- Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.
- Use code analysis tools to evaluate software functionality and security.
- Employ version control systems to support efficient software development and teamwork.
- Develop and test exploits based on proposed and U.S. Government-sanctioned frameworks.
- Adhere to the full software development life cycle, encompassing requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate within Agile and DevSecOps software development methodologies.
- Write scripts and develop applications in languages such as C# (.NET), C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, and Assembly.
