Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 5-8 years of pertinent experience, emphasizing advanced network administration and security
- Proficient in network infrastructure, design, and security
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud systems such as AWS and Azure
- Proven track record in managing technical IT projects with external customer implementations and internal infrastructure enhancements
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Must be a US Citizen and able to pass federal and state background checks
- Preferred: Network Infrastructure Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+)
- Preferred: Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CNP)
- Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification
- Preferred: Experience working in a SOC 2 environment
- Preferred: Database Administration experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of SQL and basic programming
- Preferred: Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing management of IT networks for in-house and customer-facing products
- Serve as the primary internal and external cybersecurity expert, ensuring IT systems comply with security best practices and industry standards
- Utilize expertise in physical and cloud systems for product integration, debugging, and support
- Manage product configurations, network hardware standards, operating systems, and database connectivity
- Oversee Windows updates across multiple devices and locations
- Navigate and integrate proprietary systems within complex customer IT environments
- Provide on-site and remote technical support and troubleshooting for installations and critical maintenance issues
- Create and maintain operational documents and customer-facing product documentation
- Ensure the achievement of performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support business operations
