Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in OBIEE to OAC migration
- Valid education and certifications must be detailed with acquisition dates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with OBIEE administration and development (RPD, Catalog, Security)
- Proficient in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) architecture and administration
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Azure Entra ID integration
- Knowledge in SQL and data modeling
- Proficient with BI migration tools and automation
- Skilled in performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Experience in documentation and knowledge transfer
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of our OnPrem OBIEE application to the OAC platform
- Analyze the current OBIEE environment to assess architecture, version, and topology
- Evaluate RPDs, subject areas, and customizations
- Conduct a comprehensive content inventory and usage analysis
- Document the current security model and design the OAC security framework
- Execute a functional gap analysis between OBIEE and OAC capabilities
- Develop a detailed migration strategy and timeline
- Set up and configure OAC environments and OCI components
- Validate data connections and implement necessary integrations
- Conduct thorough testing and validation pre- and post-migration
- Provide comprehensive knowledge transfer and technical documentation
Description
We are seeking an OBIEE to OAC Migration Specialist for a fully remote contract role. Our client is located in Concord, NH, and while we prioritize local candidates who can work on a hybrid schedule, we are open to fully remote candidates within the contiguous United States. This role involves assessing and migrating an existing OBIEE environment to Oracle Analytics Cloud while ensuring a secure and efficient process. We value exceptional communication skills, as collaboration and knowledge transfer to our staff are crucial for this position. The work week is structured at 37.5 hours, and candidates must be available during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
