Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT services and software development
- Strong expertise in Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Assembler, DB2, and IMS
- Proficiency in Unikix or Microfocus software for implementing solutions
- Familiarity with cloud technologies for migrating Mainframe systems
- Knowledge of CLIST, REXX, PL/1, Easytrieve, and Assembler to identify migration solutions
- Hands-on experience with Linux scripting for migration tasks
- Experience implementing DevOps solutions in rehosted systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and end users
- Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well with others
- Background in large-scale software projects and application modernization
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee the migration of Mainframe applications to equivalent software systems
- Analyze and understand legacy and contemporary technologies
- Identify coding patterns and devise technical solutions using NTTDS tools and modern frameworks
- Create, automate, and execute test cases and scripts for software validation
- Leverage programming languages to meet business needs and develop effective solutions
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure successful project outcomes
