Requirements
Must:
- Project Management experience with Manhattan WMS or a comparable warehouse management system is highly preferred.
- Background in supporting SOX-compliant applications.
- Familiarity with the AS400 Operating system and the Aldon Change Management tool.
- Knowledge of communication protocols utilized in the AS400 system (e.g., Hand Held Scanners, Voice).
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Project Management PMP certification or completion of a recognized project management program is favored.
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Desired experience in supply chain processes, such as inventory management, order processing, and distribution center operations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proven project management capabilities, particularly in leading large-scale IT initiatives.
- Comprehensive understanding of SOX compliance standards and experience in implementing SOX controls.
- Advanced skills in overseeing and managing extensive, complex, diverse, and strategic projects affecting the organization overall.
- Excellent presentation abilities with experience in delivering project updates at all organizational levels.
- Advanced knowledge of various project management techniques including waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee projects pertaining to the Manhattan WMS system.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in WMS technology.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence of WMS systems and processes to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
- Lead projects from the planning stage through final execution, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with budget constraints.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates, address risks, and report issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage project scope, modifications, budget, and timelines.
- Create detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
