Requirements
Must:
- 1-3 years of experience in computer support
- Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Familiarity with desktop and laptop computers, printers, network devices, and low-end servers
- Ability to work under direction from Help Desk or Service Desk teams
- Experience in installing and optimizing hardware/software networking products
Responsibilities
- Set up and configure computer hardware
- Provide troubleshooting support for software, hardware, and networking issues on desktops, laptops, and servers
- Maintain and support legacy products
- Support core server products and perform disk replacements on enterprise storage products
- Install, maintain, and modify PCs and related software, networks, servers, and peripherals
- Conduct installs, moves, additions, and changes as required
- Test and certify PCs, networks, servers, and client-approved applications
- Ensure timely follow-up on problems and escalate issues as necessary
- Maintain professionalism in demeanor and appearance
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery process
- Meet client-specific Service Level Agreements while updating incident and request tickets accordingly
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Field Engineer 3 to join our team in Jackson, MS. This role involves hands-on support and maintenance of computer-related products at customer sites and depot locations, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service. We offer a contract duration until 02/27/2027 with an opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment. Our goal is to maintain high levels of professionalism and ensure client satisfaction while meeting all service standards.
