Requirements
Must:
- At least five years of experience in a technical support role
- Minimum three years of IT-related experience
- Proficient in using ticketing systems and remote management tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Windows Server, including Active Directory management
- Basic understanding of small business networks, including firewalls and VPNs
- Excellent documentation and writing abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing client interactions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team model and escalate issues when necessary
- A genuine passion for technology and eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
- Process incoming client tickets, evaluating severity and urgency, and address them according to service level agreements
- Document and escalate issues as required, maintaining thorough notes
- Participate in daily meetings to discuss service delivery concerns and share insights
- Ensure timely updates on ticket statuses and resolution progress
- Provide onsite support as necessary to resolve technical issues
- Engage with clients to navigate and defuse frustrating situations
- Stay current on industry trends and technologies to improve service offerings
