Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts and protocols
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving desktop support challenges
- Familiar with IT infrastructure elements, such as servers, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with users across various organizational levels
- Solid grasp of computer hardware and peripheral components
- Experience with LAN/WAN technologies along with network troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of ticketing systems like Jira for issue tracking
- Basic understanding of Mac OS is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and some network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems along with related peripherals
- Establish and manage user accounts and access permissions
- Oversee IT infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate closely with other IT team members to sustain seamless network and system operations
- Address user inquiries and provide prompt solutions to technical challenges
- Assist in setting up and configuring office equipment, including printers and scanners
- Keep detailed documentation of support tasks and maintain accurate hardware inventory records
