Requirements
Must:
- I have demonstrated experience in desktop support and technical roles, preferably in a managed services setting.
- I possess strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
- I exhibit exceptional customer service skills, with an emphasis on client satisfaction.
- I am capable of conveying complex technical concepts clearly to those without a technical background.
- I have considerable experience with Office 365 and the Outlook application.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki firewall management and VPN technologies is advantageous.
- I have strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
Responsibilities
- I provide advanced technical assistance for desktop, server, and network challenges, ensuring prompt resolution.
- I manage and maintain operating systems, including both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- I perform server administration, troubleshooting, and upkeep for Windows-based environments.
- I oversee and maintain Active Directory (AD), group policies, and file/folder permissions.
- I deliver robust troubleshooting and management of Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- I implement and manage cybersecurity protocols, including EDR, MDR, ITDR, encryption, and VPN configurations to safeguard client networks.
- I utilize Autotask and Datto for tracking tickets, issues, and alerts.
- I configure, install, and support enterprise applications like QuickBooks, SolidWorks, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
- I implement and support cybersecurity measures, including EDR, MDR, ITDR, and email security solutions.
- I communicate effectively with clients to comprehend their IT requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- I conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and compliance with security standards.
- I manage escalations from junior staff regarding technical and cybersecurity matters.
- I stay informed on the latest technology trends to recommend enhancements for client systems.
