Requirements
Must:
- I have proven experience in desktop support and technical support roles, ideally within a managed services setting.
- I possess strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
- I demonstrate excellent customer service skills focused on client satisfaction.
- I am capable of communicating complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- I have significant experience with Office 365 and the Outlook application.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki firewall management and VPN technologies is a plus.
- I have strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
Responsibilities
- I provide advanced technical support for desktop, server, and network issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- I manage and maintain operating systems, including both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- I perform server administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Windows-based settings.
- I administer and uphold Active Directory (AD), group policies, and file/folder permissions.
- I deliver robust troubleshooting and management of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- I implement and oversee cybersecurity measures, such as EDR, MDR, ITDR, encryption, and VPN configurations, to safeguard client networks.
- I utilize Autotask and Datto for tracking tickets, issues, and alerts.
- I configure, install, and support enterprise applications, such as QuickBooks, SolidWorks, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
- I conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and compliance with security standards.
- I handle escalations from junior staff regarding technical and cybersecurity concerns.
- I stay informed about the latest technology trends to suggest enhancements for client systems.
- I communicate effectively with clients to understand their IT requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
