Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of professional experience in iOS development
- Proficient in Swift (SwiftUI/UIKit)
- Familiarity with integrating REST APIs
- Strong understanding of the mobile application lifecycle and App Store submission processes
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and uphold iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit
- Participate in the full development cycle from initial design to final deployment
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with backend services for effective data integration and synchronization
- Manage Apple Developer account activities, including provisioning and app submissions
- Assist with performance optimization and troubleshooting of issues
- Implement and support push notification features
- Work alongside product managers, designers, and engineers for collaboration
- Monitor and address issues in production applications
- Engage in code reviews and adhere to best coding practices
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and Agile rituals
- Operate within Xcode for development, debugging, and testing needs
Description
We are a compact and collaborative mobile application team dedicated to creating high-quality mobile apps for a large student audience. Our current portfolio includes multiple applications on both the Apple and Google app stores, serving tens of thousands of users. This role is located in Minneapolis, MN, and is open exclusively to local candidates under a hybrid work model. This position is a contract position for a duration of 6 months.
