Requirements
Must:
- 6–12 months of experience in IT support or desktop services
- Familiarity with Windows OS imaging tools (e.g., SCCM, Autopilot)
- Basic troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software, and network challenges
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail
- Customer-centric approach with clear, professional communication
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) (preferred)
- Knowledge of asset management practices (preferred)
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and image laptops following standardized procedures
- Configure devices for new hires and refresh cycles
- Maintain precise records of device assignments and statuses
- Track and oversee a small inventory of laptops and accessories
- Coordinate shipments and returns of devices
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy
- Provide friendly, efficient assistance for basic IT issues, such as password resets and connectivity
- Triage and escalate tickets as necessary using the service management platform
- Keep a clean and organized walk-up support area
- Package and ship devices to remote users or other offices
- Communicate with local couriers and follow up on delivery status
Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT / Depot Technician to join our team and support operations at our client site. In this hands-on role, you will focus on device lifecycle management and provide front-line technical support, ensuring the seamless operation of IT processes for both onsite and remote users. This full-time position offers a competitive pay of $18.50 per hour for expected hours of 40 per week. We provide dental and health insurance as part of our employee benefits, along with a referral program.
