Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 30 Certification within one (1) year in role
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in the security systems industry
- Preferred management experience within the security systems sector
- Comprehensive understanding of security systems technology, ideally with certifications supported by Tech Systems
- Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet and IT best practices for IP systems
- Strong ability to oversee multiple employees within assigned regions
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities
- Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency
- Proficient time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Capacity to work accurately, efficiently, and independently
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal abilities, with the capability to collaborate and provide support to staff, vendors, and clients
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record, acceptable to Tech Systems automobile insurance carrier
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, and light lifting
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all technical staff within the designated region, including making decisions on scheduling, employee discipline, hiring, and terminations
- Instill and promote the Tech Systems FOCUS philosophy within the team
- Ensure all personnel are adequately trained in manufacturer certifications as needed
- Monitor technical operations to achieve Tech Systems objectives using service management applications and NetSuite
- Oversee service calls to ensure compliance with Tech Systems policies and address any operational issues
- Organize and direct preventative maintenance activities within the assigned area
- Ensure client systems are updated with necessary firmware and version patches
- Facilitate project plans for system upgrades and identify sales opportunities for outdated equipment
- Maintain inventory for effective service responsiveness and accurate documentation
- Propose changes to create sales opportunities aligned with strategic goals
- Assess the status of FOCUS agreements and potential billable service opportunities
- Assist in preparing proposals for prospective clients that align with Tech Systems objectives
- Ensure quality assurance tasks are completed in a timely manner through effective project management
- Confirm that Project Managers are fully informed of their project commitments and adhere to reporting standards
- Attend to additional operational duties as assigned by the Regional Vice President or other executives
