Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 30 Certification within one (1) year in role
- At least five (5) years of experience in the security systems industry
- Preferred management experience in the security systems sector
- Comprehensive understanding of security systems technology, with certifications supported by Tech Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Smartsheet, with strong IT skills related to IP systems
- Capability to efficiently manage multiple employees across the region
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Strong customer service skills, demonstrating urgency in addressing client needs
- Effective time management skills, capable of meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, vendors, and clients
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving record that meets Tech Systems insurance standards
- Ability to travel and engage in physical activities like walking, standing, sitting, and light lifting
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the technical labor team within the assigned area, focusing on decision-making regarding schedules, discipline, hiring, and other personnel matters
- Promote our Tech Systems FOCUS philosophy, instilling this culture within the team
- Ensure correct training and certification for all staff, coordinating with the HR Administrator
- Supervise all technical activities to meet Tech Systems goals using service management applications and NetSuite
- Ensure proper handling of all service calls in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Organize and direct preventative maintenance efforts, working with the PM Administrator to meet timelines and standards
- Keep client systems updated with the latest firmware and version patches, alerting the sales team of upgrades and hardware issues
- Manage service response inventory accurately within the territory, ensuring proper documentation in NetSuite
- Suggest initiatives to generate sales opportunities aligned with Tech Systems objectives
- Assess the health of FOCUS agreements and service opportunities, making recommendations for performance improvement
- Support the creation and delivery of proposals that align with Tech Systems strategic goals
- Ensure quality assurance items are current and resolved in a timely manner through project planning
- Guarantee Project Managers are well-informed on their projects, ensuring all commitments are fulfilled according to company standards
- Attend to additional duties assigned by the Regional Vice President or other executives as needed
