Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 30 Certification within one (1) year in role
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the security systems industry
- Management experience in the security systems industry is preferred
- Extensive understanding of security systems technology, ideally with certifications relevant to Tech Systems
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet, and IT best practices for IP systems
- Ability to manage multiple employees across a designated region
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Excellent customer service skills with a sense of urgency
- Strong time management capabilities to meet deadlines
- Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and independently
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage and collaborate with staff, vendors, and customers
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record satisfactory to our automobile insurance policy
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide all technical staff within the assigned territory, including decisions on scheduling, discipline, hiring, and termination
- Foster an understanding of the Tech Systems FOCUS philosophy and inspire this culture within the team
- Ensure all personnel receive appropriate training and certifications as mandated by manufacturers, collaborating with the HR Administrator
- Supervise all technical operations to guarantee alignment with Tech Systems goals and objectives, utilizing service management applications and NetSuite
- Ensure appropriate handling of service calls in accordance with Tech Systems policies while managing technical staff for operational efficiency
- Plan and direct all preventative maintenance tasks in collaboration with the PM Administrator to meet timelines and standards
- Keep client systems in the territory updated with firmware and patches while managing project plans for system upgrades
- Ensure territory inventory supports effective service response and that all client systems are accurately documented in NetSuite
- Recommend strategies to generate sales opportunities aligned with Tech Systems marketing and financial goals
- Monitor the performance of FOCUS agreements and billable services, offering recommendations for improvement and supporting the AM team in managing aging client systems
- Assist in preparing and presenting proposals to potential clients that align with Tech Systems objectives
- Ensure all quality assurance items are resolved and project plans are completed on time with the team
- Ensure Project Managers are knowledgeable about their projects and that commitments are fulfilled according to company standards
- Address other operational tasks as assigned by the Regional Vice President or other executive staff
