- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. - An associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is advantageous. - A valid driver’s license and trustworthy transportation are essential. - Basic knowledge of Windows-based computers and standard IT equipment is required. - Strong verbal and written communication skills are important. - Comfort with answering phones and creating service tickets is a must. - Ability to accurately follow written procedures and checklists is essential. - Willingness to perform repetitive tasks such as labeling, logging, and data entry is expected. - Capacity to lift and move computer equipment as necessary. - Candidates should be able to pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screening. - Our work environment is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping during working hours and in company offices and vehicles.

Responsibilities

- I will answer incoming calls and generate service tickets in our system. - I will manage basic support issues like password resets and locked accounts. - I will process both incoming and outgoing client hardware, including laptops and PCs. - I will log serial numbers, label devices, and prepare machines for deployment. - I will maintain an organized and clearly labeled inventory of client hardware. - I will tidy and arrange our intake room and hardware storage area. - I will assist with the hardware retirement process, including wiping, labeling, and storing. - I will update and maintain client information in our system (ConnectWise), covering users, computers, locations, warranty dates, and device expiration timelines. - I will help review and manage user accounts and groups in Active Directory. - I will aid in tracking and processing software and licensing renewals. - I will provide support to technicians with helpdesk overflow or administrative tasks. - I will submit a weekly written summary of completed tasks and key updates from my work area.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our IT team in a support and logistics role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on staying busy and keeping everything organized, playing an important part in the daily operations of a managed IT service provider. I will support our helpdesk team by managing intake, performing basic support tasks, and organizing inventory, all while being the first point of contact for answering calls and creating tickets. This role is vital for allowing our technicians to focus on higher-level work and ensuring our client environments are well-maintained and up-to-date. If you take pride in executing tasks correctly the first time, appreciate structured work, and seek a long-term opportunity with growth potential, we would love to meet you. This position is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 120-day evaluation period. After this period, candidates who exhibit the right fit, work ethic, and attitude may be offered a full-time role with benefits and long-term growth potential. The expected pay is between $15.50 and $17.50 per hour, and upon full-time hire, benefits will include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match, universal paid time off, and a supportive team environment that values consistency, accountability, and growth. Please note that proficiency in English is required, and candidates must reside in Hurst, TX 76053, and work on-site.
