Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and maintaining virtualized systems and networks
- At least 4 years of supporting VMware infrastructure and software, specifically ESXi Hypervisor Appliances, vSphere, vCenter, vROps, and ControlUp tools
- A minimum of 4 years supporting MS Active Directory and related domain controller systems including DNS and DHCP
- Proficiency in configuring new virtual servers in a VxRail VMware environment
- Experience utilizing VMware NSX for network virtualization and Aria tools for advanced automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills for optimizing virtual machine performance and resolving bottlenecks
- Knowledge of proactive measures against zero-day vulnerabilities to enhance security
- Skills in configuring DHCP settings and managing DNS records for network reliability
- Experience in administering Microsoft Outlook 2016 environments including troubleshooting and user support
- Proven ability in managing core infrastructure operations and upgrading storage and backup systems
- Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and streamline operations
- Expertise in designing and managing VMware Horizon environments, including UAG placement and load balancing
- Deep understanding of security hardening and vulnerability remediation for Windows and Linux systems
- Proficiency in monitoring and alerting platforms such as Azure Monitor and SIEM tools
- Capable of developing technical documentation including SOPs and operational runbooks
- Experienced in administering enterprise Linux servers and patch management
- Knowledgeable in managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) across hybrid environments
- Proficient with enterprise administration and monitoring tools including Hyena, CoreView, and Microsoft WebIAM
- Experience with Veritas NetBackup for designing backup architectures and tape-based backup solutions
- Hands-on experience with administering Dell EMC Unity family storage appliances
Responsibilities
- Configure new virtual servers within a VxRail VMware environment
- Utilize VMware NSX for network virtualization and implement Aria tools for automation and management
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in virtual machine performance to ensure system stability
- Implement proactive measures to secure servers against zero-day vulnerabilities
- Configure and manage DHCP settings and DNS records for accurate network name resolution
- Administer and support Microsoft Outlook 2016, including troubleshooting and user assistance
- Oversee core infrastructure operations and manage upgrades and migrations of storage and backup systems
- Develop and maintain custom PowerShell scripts to optimize administrative tasks
- Design and architect VMware Horizon environments, ensuring secure and high-performance configurations
- Administer VMware Horizon-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, managing deployment and ongoing operations
- Harden security for Windows and Linux systems to comply with industry best practices
- Configure and monitor systems using Azure Monitor and SIEM tools for proactive oversight
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as SOPs and operational runbooks
- Administer and support enterprise Linux servers, including patch management and scripting
- Manage Identity and Access Management across hybrid environments for secure user access
