Requirements
Must:
- Extensive knowledge of Commvault and Commvault Cloud SaaS solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, and GCP
- Strong documentation skills for technical information
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in data protection for both on-premises and public cloud using Commvault
- Expertise in storage migrations and data center consolidation
- Familiarity with storage solutions from Dell/EMC, IBM, NetApp, and Pure Storage
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python
- In-depth knowledge of UNIX systems (IBM AIX, Linux, Client-UX) and networking hardware
- Ability to design and manage scalable cloud solutions across various platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams, cloud engineers, and security specialists
- Maintain and support a diverse range of backup and storage systems
- Administer, install, configure, and maintain backup and storage solutions
- Create CommVault backup jobs for various operating systems
- Manage Network Attached Storage (NAS) through NDMP
- Work with databases including DB2, SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Handle storage provisioning for UNIX, Windows, and VMware servers
- Oversee backup and recovery support for major cloud service providers
- Plan regular system upgrades and monitor system health
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported by teams
- Collaborate with customers to test applications post-implementation
- Evaluate new software technologies and ensure security patches are applied
