Requirements
Must:
- 4-10 years of professional experience in UI Design, Product Design, or a related field
- Bachelors degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, visual communication, graphic design, industrial design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma (must have from day one), including:
- Component libraries and variants
- Interactive prototyping
- Auto layout
- Design system workflows
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Proven experience designing digital products, including web and/or mobile applications
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, including layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and iconography
- Experience working with established design systems and consistently applying brand standards
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic innovation environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Portfolio showcasing UI design work for digital products
- Experience designing for embedded systems, IoT devices, or hardware-based interfaces is a plus
- Familiarity with software development concepts and constraints (e.g., responsive design, front-end frameworks) is desirable
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or modern front-end technologies is beneficial
- Skills in graphic design such as icon creation, illustration, or basic motion design are appreciated
- Experience in conducting or supporting usability testing and qualitative user research is advantageous
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, intuitive, and memorable user experiences across TCCC equipment, including Freestyle machines, dispensers, and coolers
- Design user interfaces for:
- On-equipment and embedded UIs
- Web applications
- Mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Develop high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes using Figma, effectively communicating user flows, states, and interactions
- Create, maintain, and contribute to UI specification guidelines, design systems, and UI component libraries, focusing on scalability and reuse
- Develop user journey maps and site maps, and establish system information architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define project scope and design requirements
- Implement designs within established global brand standards, thoughtfully extending and adapting the brand for digital and embedded interfaces
- Lead UI design initiatives for assigned projects, independently managing tasks while aligning with broader experience and product strategies
- Work with the User Experience Lead to plan and conduct usability testing and user research, integrating user feedback to enhance designs continually
- Translate research insights, business requirements, and technical limitations into clear, effective UI solutions
- Collaborate closely with engineering during both design and implementation phases to ensure designs are feasible, well-documented, and accurately executed
- Engage in design critiques and cross-functional reviews, articulating design rationale clearly

This role merges strong visual design foundations with contemporary UI design and systems thinking. You will design user interfaces for IoT-enabled equipment, embedded displays, web applications, and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with global brand standards and innovative adaptations for digital experiences. You will work independently on your projects while closely collaborating with UX, Industrial Design, Engineering, and Product teams. Additionally, you will assist in usability testing and user research efforts to guarantee intuitive and user-centered designs.
