Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Service or Help Desk role
- Basic understanding of troubleshooting techniques and Tier 1 application support
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good familiarity with computers, operating systems, Office 365, and various tech products
- Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel; capable of creating and modifying documentation such as wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and reports
- Strong analytical skills with ability to gather, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information accurately
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail, meet deadlines, and follow up appropriately
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and customers
- Conduct general troubleshooting via phone or email correspondence
- Record client/customer issues, requests, troubleshooting steps, and solutions using the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Escalate unresolved tickets to the designated Tier 2 personnel
- Maintain communication with clients/customers and internal teams as necessary
- Adhere to, review, and revise all Service Desk procedures
- Perform limited systems administration tasks
- Identify and resolve issues following documented procedures and checklists in executing most responsibilities
- Manage, escalate, and monitor customer service tickets to ensure resolution
