Requirements
Must:
- Intermediate knowledge of hardware components such as motherboards, CPUs, DVDs/CD-RWs, printers, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 11.
- Intermediate experience in customer service within a Technical Help Desk or Data Center/NOC environment.
- Familiarity with computer operations procedures, operating systems, and platforms.
- Understanding of current techniques and capabilities related to personal computers, local area networks, and wide area networks.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Windows PC support (preferred).
- Background in a Help Desk environment (preferred).
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Address user calls concerning PC software, hardware, and server application issues.
- Create Work Orders utilizing the Avanti ITSM tracking system.
- Operate and monitor all computer systems, networks, and peripherals in the Network Operations Center.
- Assist in managing the resolution of application/software system issues that affect production.
- Reset network and/or application passwords as required.
- Use Avanti ITSM for remote access and management of desktop and laptop systems.
- Potentially employ additional applications for remote computer management.
- Maintain communication with users regarding operational and production issues.
- Support Senior/Lead Help Desk Analysts and/or Technical Support personnel upon request.
- Document and track Information Technology production issues thoroughly.
- Ensure physical presence at the work site to complete assigned tasks at scheduled times as directed by the supervisor.
Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Specialist/Desktop Support professional to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This is an onsite role with a contract duration of 6+ months and a high likelihood of extension. You will be the first point of contact for technical support, helping to troubleshoot and resolve various technology issues involving user equipment and network endpoints.
