We are seeking a motivated individual who is tough-minded, resilient, and practices unity in a team environment. You should maintain high energy levels and demonstrate a consistent commitment to excellence. A commitment to critical thinking is essential for succeeding in this Help Desk Analyst and Onsite Solutions Technician role. You should have 1 to 3 years of work experience in a Managed Service Provider setting or as an IT Field Technician. Additionally, a CompTIA certification is required for all positions, or you should obtain a CompTIA certification in Network or Security within the first 90 days of employment. It is necessary for candidates to be available to interview promptly after we receive your resume.
Responsibilities
In this part-time position, each week you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users via tickets, phone, email, and in person. You will present your own laptop and have reliable transportation, including proof of insurance, to serve the Charleston area. You'll collaborate closely with IT Engineering Support Teams and escalate complex technical issues as needed. Your role will include documenting support activities, conducting comprehensive onsite service for hardware/software issues, and maintaining user accounts and permissions in Active Directory. You'll also have the opportunity to proactively provide remote support and ensure our clients' operations run smoothly with a mindset focused on excellence and ingenuity.
Description
To thrive in this position, you must have strong analytical skills, be self-motivated, and be willing to mentor others. You will need to possess at least two years of experience with networks, IT equipment, and various software platforms as well as a solid foundation in customer service skills. We expect the candidate to maintain the highest level of client satisfaction and meet each customer's Service Level Agreement diligently. A background check and proof of residency in Charleston, South Carolina, are also prerequisites. This role offers the flexibility of a part-time schedule, including afternoons, early mornings, and weekends, according to customer needs.
