Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent education, training, and/or relevant experience. - Strong expertise in server-side technology: C# (.NET and .NET Core/ ASP.NET Core - Entity Framework preferred, ASP.NET MVC 5 preferred). - Deep knowledge of single-page application design, standards, and architecture. - Comprehensive understanding of UX/UI principles and their implementation. - Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, including responsive design for enhancing application quality on mobile and desktop devices. - Significant experience with React.js and TypeScript, including best practices and code design. - Familiarity with source control tools such as Git. - Strong verbal communication abilities. - Sharp problem-solving skills. - Keen attention to detail. - Enthusiastic about problem-solving and exploring new technologies. - Proven experience within a structured software development lifecycle. - Pluses include: - Background in Azure or Azure DevOps environments. - Experience with automated testing frameworks and software. - Previous work in the education sector. - Familiarity with third-party, PCI compliant payment platforms like Stripe, Authorize.NET, or Paypal. - Experience with software integration alongside various third-party software/API solutions (e.g., transactional email provider, text/SMS messaging providers). - Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to assist in the development process.

Responsibilities

- Develop and conduct testing for front and back-end web applications and associated services, including both automated unit tests and manual/QA testing. - Monitor and sustain production software, resolving defects and enhancing performance. - Collaborate with the support team and quality assurance to resolve reported software issues requiring advanced technical assistance. - Adhere to established company coding standards, style, and naming conventions within a .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript environment. - Execute code reviews. - Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices. - Guarantee application responsiveness. - Collaborate with designers on web design features. - Oversee projects from initial concept through to completion. - Address both technical and consumer requirements. - Identify and share best practices with other team members. - Stay informed about technological advancements and integrate enhancements as needed.
