- I am seeking candidates who are proficient in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem-solving.
- You must be a United States citizen.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline is necessary, or you should have 6 years of directly relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in DOD SATCOM is required.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is essential.

Responsibilities
- I will rely on you to provide Terminal and Modem Performance Certification Engineering support for Wideband C-SSE, WGS, GBS, and DSCS SSE.
- You will evaluate terminal and modem performance certification reports through all phases of the certification process.
- Generating an engineering-based assessment for each performance certification report and determining compliance is a key task.
- You will offer advice and recommendations to vendors, Government PMs, or the Wideband C-SSE to modify system designs or configurations to achieve compliance with performance certification standards when necessary.
- Evaluating new SATCOM technologies and suggesting changes to current performance certification standards will be part of your duties.
- You will review performance certification test procedures and may need to provide input for modifying these processes.
- Supporting test and evaluation efforts during military wideband on-orbit testing, operational evaluations, and resolving anomalies is expected.
- I will count on you for recommendations on system modifications, changes, and updates to the Wideband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Operational Management System (WSOMS).
- You will maintain and update both off-line and on-line modem and terminal static databases within WSOMS.
- Performing Wideband SATCOM mission planning using WSOMS will be a critical responsibility.
- You will interpret terminal and modem performance and functionality to develop models in WSOMS.
- Conducting detailed analysis and long-term trending of satellite, modem, and terminal resources will also be your responsibility.
