Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Exceptional communication skills to interact directly with clients and analysts, ensuring alignment of technical requirements and delivery with expectations
- Profound understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to deliver solutions accordingly
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in web application development using Java
- Experience in developing service-oriented architecture applications with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns
- Strong proficiency in Java Server Pages (JSP), DHTML, and JavaScript
- Experience with MVC framework applications using front-end technologies, with a preference for Angular
- Strong analytical and design capabilities, capable of interpreting business requirements into effective technical designs suitable for large-scale, structured enterprise environments
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities to swiftly identify and document underlying issues, along with effective communication of potential solutions
- Strong presentation and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively
Responsibilities
- Design and implement REST APIs in Spring, with a focus on NoSQL database capabilities
- Collaborate with front-end development teams, particularly those using Angular, to ensure seamless integration of services
- Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis of application issues
- Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates
- Maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
- Continuously improve code quality and development practices within the team
Description
We are seeking a Spring Boot Developer to join our innovative team in NYC, NY for a duration of over 6 months.
