Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- Relevant certifications may substitute for formal education, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA
- 2-5 years of experience in an IT support role or a comparable position
- Strong understanding of networking principles (OSI Model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Deacom, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of elucidating technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Capacity to work independently, conduct research, and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Self-driven with a keen interest in ongoing learning and career development in the IT sector
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for end users through phone, email, or face-to-face interactions
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues within a Windows environment
- Install and set up hardware for end users, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Assist in the upkeep and troubleshooting of network infrastructure including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls
- Maintain asset inventory and ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures
- Support and oversee communication and monitoring systems, comprising VoIP phone systems, IP camera systems, and mobile device management platforms
- Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft 365/Active Directory
- Document technical processes, system configurations, and recommended practices
- Assist in managing and supporting the companys ERP system
- Collaborate with fellow IT team members to facilitate system upgrades and enhancements
