FPGA Engineer

- Bachelors degree in a relevant STEM field with 5 years of professional experience, or a Masters degree with 3 years of experience. - Proven hands-on experience in VHDL design. - Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. - Familiarity with the formal engineering development process, VHDL design, and verification. - Preferred: 8+ years of technical experience in the field. - Preferred: Experience with VHDL design and OSVVM verification for FPGA firmware. - Preferred: Knowledge of AMD/Xilinx series including Zynq, Kintex, Ultrascale, and Versal family of devices. - Preferred: Expertise in Communication Protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, Ethernet). - Preferred: Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools such as Vivado, Quartus, and QuestaSim. - Preferred: Understanding of FPGA physical constraints and timing closure techniques. - Preferred: Ability to generate test benches and support formal VHDL verification. - Preferred: Experience in board-level system debugging using instruments like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. - Preferred: Capability in converting systems requirements into programmable logic specifications, design documents, and testing guidelines.
