Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical or computer engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 6 years of relevant industry experience (4+ years with a masters degree) or 10+ years of experience in Digital Design without a degree
- Deep understanding of embedded microprocessor design and ARM Core integration
- Extensive knowledge of high-speed digital communication protocols including DDR memory, USB, and Ethernet
- Proficiency with simulation tools such as LTSpice, HyperLynx, and MATLAB
- Proven experience with the complete PCB design process, including requirement analysis, schematic capture with Mentor VX/Designer, and high-speed layout analysis
- Strong skillset in executing verification and validation tests using lab equipment
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 for compliance and reliability in hardware engineering
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the design and enhancement of advanced digital hardware for software-defined radios
- Utilize simulation tools to analyze and validate circuit functionality and integrity
- Lead the full design cycle from requirements gathering to schematic capture and layout analysis
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify subsystem and system-level performance
- Ensure all hardware designs meet strict regulatory standards and reliability criteria
- Engage in continuous improvement of hardware performance and compliance measures
