Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven software development experience, specifically with Java/J2EE
- Strong grasp of Java and familiarity with other Java technologies including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, as well as XML, XSD, and XSL
- Experience with object-oriented design and application of design patterns, with familiarity in UML
- Proficient in SQL/RDBMS, with a preference for Oracle
- Comprehensive lifecycle development experience for large-scale projects, particularly in building distributed and scalable eCommerce systems
- Background in developing and implementing SOA strategies within large organizations, as well as deploying SOA solutions to production
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies is highly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Create, design, develop, test, and maintain applications emphasizing reliability, security, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance, and reusability
- Provide technical expertise in architecture, design, and implementation issues
- Collaborate with both technical and business team members to deliver high-quality software
- Determine the most effective implementation methods aligned with the Application Architect’s design
- Conduct thorough unit and component testing to ensure application integrity
- Establish and maintain adherence to software coding and style guidelines for consistency
- Perform code reviews to ensure compliance with style standards and quality assurance
