Requirements
Must:
- Full-stack Python solution architect experience
- Proficient as a Google Cloud Architect with MongoDB knowledge
- Background in climate data is advantageous
- Strong understanding of modern data processing technologies and application development frameworks
- Experience with programming, OOP principles, and relational databases
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of data orchestration and pipeline tools
- Expertise in various database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Comprehension of microservices architecture and RESTful API design (Python APIs)
- Proficient in front-end and back-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js)
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., IAM, encryption, firewalls)
Responsibilities
- Design and create application architectures that fulfill business needs
- Lead efforts in data modeling, integration, and governance to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to strategize and implement projects
- Ensure compatibility and integration of software components and data systems
- Monitor and improve the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Document architectural models, guidelines, and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Identify and resolve issues related to applications and data in a timely manner
