Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with SharePoint On-Prem solutions, excluding cloud options.
- Proficient in SharePoint Online architecture and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Modern features, including pages, web parts, and site templates.
- Familiarity with migration processes from on-premise Subscription Edition to SharePoint Online.
- Competency in configuring hub sites, communication sites, and team sites.
- Expertise in designing permissions, governance, and security models.
- Hands-on experience with ShareGate migration tool for content inventory, assessment, and migration planning.
- Skilled in data mapping, restructuring, and validation after migration.
- Capacity to troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance.
- Experience converting SharePoint Designer workflows to Power Automate.
- Knowledge in developing Power Apps (both canvas and model-driven).
- Expertise in Information Architecture, including site structure design, taxonomy, metadata, and navigation.
- Familiarity with content classification and governance strategies.
- Capable of optimizing search functionalities.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles for navigation and content hierarchy.
- Experience in content audit, cleanup, and file/folder restructuring with metadata tagging.
- Knowledge in version control and document lifecycle management while ensuring compliance with governance and retention policies.
- Proficient in customizing SharePoint Modern UI, including themes, layouts, and templates.
- Solid page design skills focused on usability and accessibility.
- Understanding of branding alignment including colors, fonts, and corporate identity.
- Basic HTML/CSS/SPFx knowledge is preferred for deeper customization.
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills for requirements gathering.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions clearly.
- Strong documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities.
- Experience in agile or iterative project delivery methods.
- Skills in training end-users and supporting their adoption of new solutions.
- Bonus: Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development and integration of Microsoft Teams with SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Azure AD / Microsoft 365 ecosystem is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMS and Tricare (DoD) compliance guidelines and policies is advantageous.
