Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Education, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience) - 2 to 5 years of experience in application training, software implementation, or user education - Strong presentation and facilitation skills for varied audiences - Proficiency in creating training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, LMS platforms, or video authoring software - Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and user-friendly manner - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Flexibility in adapting to different learning styles and technical skill levels - Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail - Willingness to travel as necessary for on-site training sessions

- Conduct instructor-led and virtual training sessions for both new and existing applications - Develop and upkeep training materials, such as user guides, quick reference sheets, videos, and e-learning modules - Tailor training content according to user roles, workflows, and system configurations - Perform training needs assessments and suggest suitable learning strategies - Assist with application rollouts, upgrades, and system modifications through focused training initiatives - Provide hands-on system demonstrations and facilitate interactive learning experiences - Assess training effectiveness and integrate feedback for ongoing enhancement - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on application functionality and workflows - Collaborate with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams to ensure training aligns with system capabilities - Keep training schedules, attendance logs, and completion statistics updated

We are seeking an IT Trainer for our team based in Richmond, VA. This position involves delivering effective end-user training for our Electronic Health Records application, facilitating successful adoption and ongoing proficiency. We offer an engaging work environment where collaboration with Health Services, Health IT, and vendors is essential. Candidates must be able to work and interview on-site, and we strongly prefer local applicants. Flexible hours may be necessary during system go-lives or upgrades.
