Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in data and analytics within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech, technology companies, or other regulated industries
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and convert them into analytical solutions
- Experience with end-to-end data processing, including extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis utilizing SQL queries across various database systems
- Proficiency in developing advanced analytical solutions using programming languages such as Python and R for data-driven decision making
- Familiarity with version control practices using Git for managing code repositories
- Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructures, specifically AWS
- Capability to design and implement data visualization solutions with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms for self-service analytics
- Experience in presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse group of users and partners across multiple functions to transform complex business challenges into suitable data, modeling, and analytical solutions
- Lead data science initiatives through the entire data, analytics, and machine learning lifecycle
- Clearly and objectively communicate findings and their associated limitations
- Apply and stay up-to-date with methods, techniques, and advancements in analytics and data science
- Mentor and provide support to other data scientists on various projects to enhance data science as a core capability
- Develop and evaluate working practices to ensure data science outputs meet high quality standards
- Engage in up to 25% domestic travel for onsite meetings and departmental events while allowing for remote work up to 75%
