Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in data and analytics within life sciences, pharma, biotech, technology, or similar regulated industries
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
- Experience in end-to-end data processing, including extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis utilizing SQL across various databases
- Proficient in developing advanced analytical solutions using programming languages such as Python and R
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically using Git to manage code repositories
- Experience utilizing cloud computing resources like AWS
- Skills in designing and implementing data visualization solutions using tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent presentation skills for communicating data insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse group of users and partners to transform complex, unstructured business challenges into suitable data and analytical strategies
- Lead data science initiatives throughout the entire analytics and machine learning lifecycle
- Communicate findings and their limitations clearly and objectively
- Apply and uphold best practices in analytics and data science methodologies
- Mentor and support fellow data scientists across various projects to enhance the development of data science capabilities
- Develop and refine working procedures to ensure data science outputs meet stringent quality standards
- Participate in domestic travel, with up to 25% required for onsite meetings and departmental events
