Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 4 years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 4 years in data and analytics within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, technology firms, or other regulated sectors.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Skilled in end-to-end data processing including extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis using SQL across various database systems.
- Proficient in developing advanced analytical solutions using programming languages like Python and R to enhance data-driven decision making.
- Demonstrated experience with version control practices utilizing Git to manage code repositories and cloud computing platforms such as AWS.
- Competent in designing and implementing data visualization solutions using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, enabling self-service analytics.
- Ability to present data-driven insights and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse array of users and partners across multiple functions to translate complex business issues into suitable data, modeling, and analytical solutions.
- Lead data science projects through the entire data, analytics, and machine learning lifecycle.
- Clearly and objectively communicate results along with their associated limitations to relevant stakeholders.
- Apply and maintain cutting-edge methods, techniques, and developments in analytics and data science.
- Mentor and provide support to fellow data scientists across various projects to advance data science as a key competency.
- Develop and review practices to ensure that all data science work meets robust quality standards.
- Engage in up to 25% domestic travel for onsite meetings and departmental events, while benefiting from up to 75% remote work options.
