Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4 years of relevant professional experience in data and analytics
- Previous experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, technology, or regulated industries
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions
- Experience in end-to-end data processing, including extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis using SQL across multiple databases
- Proficient in developing advanced analytical solutions using Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with version control practices, particularly Git, for managing code repositories
- Experience utilizing cloud computing infrastructure such as AWS
- Skilled in designing and implementing data visualization solutions using tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Capability to present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with diverse users and partners across various functions to address complex business challenges with data-driven solutions
- Lead data science projects throughout the complete data, analytics, and machine learning lifecycle
- Communicate results clearly and objectively, highlighting limitations associated with findings
- Apply and uphold methodologies, techniques, and advancements in analytics and data science
- Mentor and assist other data scientists across multiple projects to enhance our data science capabilities
- Develop and evaluate working practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality data science outputs
- Engage in domestic travel for up to 25% of the time to attend onsite meetings and department events
- Work remotely for up to 75% of the time as part of our hybrid work model
