Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or cyber threat analysis
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, packet capture analysis, and forensic toolkits
- Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, network protocols, malware behavior, and adversary TTPs
- Capability to perform under pressure and communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve high-severity and advanced persistent threats (APTs), zero-day vulnerabilities, and targeted attacks
- Execute in-depth analysis across endpoint, network, and cloud environments
- Conduct advanced threat hunting guided by hypotheses, threat intelligence, and behavioral signals
- Act as the final escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts, offering technical direction and mentorship
- Generate thorough incident reports detailing root cause analysis, timelines, and suggested corrective actions
- Collaborate with incident response teams, Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), system owners, and agency leadership during incident response
