Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI or TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline
- Strong background in cost analysis and federal compliance
- Proficiency in cost estimating methods, especially for space systems
- Experience in using COTS tools (like MS Excel), custom coding, or FOSS tools (such as R or Python)
- Knowledge of space hardware, bus, and payload cost estimating across various product lines including GEOINT, SIGINT, and COMM
- Familiarity with services cost estimating and data collection techniques
- Capability in data analysis utilizing statistical methods
- Expertise in method development including multivariate regression and risk analysis (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation)
- Experience in cost estimating for Agile development efforts
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze cost data for effective budget management and financial planning
- Develop cost estimates using parametric approaches, focusing on space systems when applicable
- Create tools leveraging COTS, custom code, or FOSS for financial analysis
- Collect and normalize cost data for improved accuracy and clarity
- Conduct data analysis to derive financial insights using statistical methodologies
- Develop cost estimation methods, such as multivariate regression and cost improvement curves
- Support source selection evaluations to ensure efficient resource allocation
- Provide cost estimates for Agile Development initiatives
