Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably at Tier 1 or OEM
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming
- Experience with model-based code generation tools such as Simulink or ASCET
- Familiarity with DAQ and Calibration tools like CANape or INCA
- Knowledge of Eclipse IDE
- Experience with NXP S32K Microcontrollers
- Understanding of CAN bus, SPI, and I2C protocols
- Strong background in functional safety principles
- Experience in electronics testing and software validation
- Proficient in motor control and battery management techniques
- Experience with electric powertrains or battery management is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for battery and electrification products
- Validate software associated with battery management, motor control, system control, networking, diagnostics, and bootloader
- Utilize a combination of C programming and model-based code generation in application development
- Work on multi-core processors that implement advanced functional safety technologies
- Engage in advanced automotive networking, including the use of CAN-FD
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate designs
- Participate in internal development projects to enhance skills and foster creativity
- Contribute to low-volume manufacturing initiatives to maintain a connection with the product lifecycle
