Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or a minimum of 10 years of related experience in requirements gathering or testing.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with Tableau.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle data manipulation and SQL query writing.
- Proficiency in using Tableau Server, Desktop, and Prep for data source creation and visualization.
- Background as a Data Analyst or a similar analytical role with demonstrated capabilities in data analysis, cleansing, and reporting.
- Strong SQL skills for database querying, transforming, and analyzing data, as well as performing statistical calculations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Exceptional attention to detail to identify discrepancies in data and reporting.
- Experience in quality assurance and testing to ensure requirements are validated and data issues are resolved.
- Knowledge of defect management processes, user story creation, and testing support, including user acceptance testing.
- Proficiency in Python for data cleansing, analysis, and automation.
- Ability to critically evaluate and confirm business requirements, providing constructive feedback.
- Capacity to analyze and interpret complex datasets, offering data-driven solutions to business problems.
- Excellent collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data management is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Analyze datasets to extract trends and actionable insights, employing statistical methods to inform business decisions.
- Develop clear visualizations and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Clean and prepare data, addressing inconsistencies and outliers using SQL and Excel in readiness for analysis.
- Design and implement streamlined data analysis workflows to enhance efficiency in processing and analysis tasks.
- Test dashboards, reports, and data sources to confirm alignment with business requirements, working closely with product owners for accurate delivery.
- Manage the creation of Tableau visualizations and dashboards to deliver meaningful reporting and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert data insights into strategic solutions for the business.
- Offer technical support and training on GIS tools, visualization platforms, and data analysis techniques.
- Conduct spatial data analysis utilizing GIS software such as ArcGIS.
