Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4–8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS. - Demonstrated ability to define product direction, set priorities effectively, and achieve measurable results. - Strong skills in discovery and requirements gathering, capable of transforming uncertainty into clear decisions and actionable plans. - Experience in competitive analysis and developing positioning strategies for market entry. - Solid understanding of platform concepts, including multi-tenant architectures, role-based access, integrations/APIs, data pipelines, and reporting/analytics. - Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and foster alignment across various teams. - Preferred: Experience in the automotive sector, dealer ecosystems, or related vertical SaaS. - Preferred: Familiarity with SaaS growth strategies and product metrics, including activation, retention, expansion, and churn reduction. - Preferred: Experience with pricing and packaging strategy development and go-to-market support. - Preferred: Proven ability to build processes and operate efficiently in scaling environments.

Responsibilities

- Define and uphold a clear product vision and multi-quarter strategy aligned with company objectives and target market segments. - Take ownership of the product roadmap, managing prioritization, sequencing, and measuring success outcomes. - Establish metrics for product success and regularly track progress regarding activation, adoption, retention, and satisfaction. - Create business cases for investments and platform initiatives, outlining potential impacts and trade-offs. - Facilitate alignment with leadership and stakeholders through effective communication. - Conduct ongoing competitive analysis, evaluating capabilities, positioning, and market dynamics, including pricing strategies. - Identify and interpret market trends and emerging needs, converting them into product opportunities and strategic initiatives. - Produce ready-to-use materials, such as battlecards and positioning briefs, to support market efforts. - Lead continuous customer discovery through interviews, feedback mechanisms, usability testing, and analysis of product usage patterns. - Distill insights into precise problem statements and success metrics. - Collaborate with customer-facing teams to identify frequent pain points and prioritize the most impactful enhancements. - Streamline workflow efficiencies to improve time-to-value. - Maintain a regular cadence of insights through various feedback channels. - Manage the product backlog, defining epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, sequencing, and release goals. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and Support to ensure product decisions reflect operational realities and customer implications. - Work in partnership with Software Development and QA to effectively plan releases, manage project scope, and uphold quality standards. - Communicate trade-off decisions swiftly and clearly to stakeholders, providing rationale on priority choices. - Ensure product releases are customer-ready with clear messaging, documentation, and support provisions. - Collaborate with R&D on scalability, reliability, security, performance, and customer experience enhancements. - Work on change management and release discipline, including rollout plans and feature flag usage. - Analyze production signals and customer feedback to prioritize improvements and align workflows that facilitate scalable growth.

Located in Moncton, NB, we offer a competitive salary between $85,000.00 and $115,000.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package including dental care, life insurance, and paid time off.
